Settings
The Voter.Vote Settings area allows you to manage your entire campaign setup. You can use Voter.Vote settings to update your account, team, billing, and outreach information.
Account
This tab stores personal details for your individual login.
Full Name, Email Address, Cell Phone Number: Displays your current contact information. Update these fields if your details change.
Password: Click Change Password to set a new password. Enter your existing password, then your new one. Use a strong passphrase and avoid reusing passwords across accounts.
Personal Invoices: Shows any invoices tied to your personal account. Click an invoice to view or download the receipt. If no invoices appear, you have not been billed personally.
Delete Account: Permanently deletes your personal login and all associated data. Only use this option if you intend to close your account entirely. This action cannot be undone.
Team
Team settings manage your campaign’s structure and permissions.
Team Name/Contest: Displays your current team name and associated contest. Click Edit Name to rename the team. Use a clear, descriptive name that identifies your campaign.
Members: Lists all team members and their roles. Use Add Member to invite new users by email or Edit Members to change roles or remove users. Assign roles carefully to control access to sensitive information.
Authorization: Indicates whether your team is authorized to access the contest voter file. If unauthorized, enter the authorization code in the Authorize Team Contest box and click Apply Code. Use Change Contest to select another contest or Purchase Data to buy access through the marketplace.
Your Teams: Allows you to switch between multiple teams. Use the dropdown to change teams. Create New Team starts a new campaign, Join Another Team requests access to an existing one, and Leave Team removes you from the current team. Admins cannot leave if they are the only admin.
Delete Team: Permanently removes the current team and all associated data. Export any needed information before deleting a team.
Billing
Billing settings control how your team pays for outreach services.
Team Billing: Displays your default payment method. Use Add Payment Method to add a new credit or debit card. Once added, select it as the default for all transactions. Ensure the card belongs to an authorized campaign account.
Team Invoices: Lists invoices generated for outreach services. Click the invoice number to view details, totals, and due dates. Pay invoices promptly to avoid service interruptions.
Outreach Settings
The Outreach tab includes sub-tabs for each outreach channel. Complete these fields to meet compliance requirements and configure sending limits.
Texting Settings (10DLC Registration): Most carriers require 10DLC registration for political texting. Complete all fields accurately.
Organization / Filing Committee Name & Website: Enter your committee’s legal name and official website or filing record.
State, City/County & Business Address: Select your state and provide the full business address listed on your filings.
Committee Phone Number & Type: Provide a valid phone number and select its type (mobile, landline, etc.).
Committee Type: Choose candidate, political action committee, non-profit, or other classification.
EIN / Tax ID, Election Date, FPPC/FEC Number: Enter your tax ID, election date, and registration number for verification.
Optional Fields: Add a donation link, text footer, or disclosure language as required.
After entering all information, click Save Information. The system submits your registration and updates you once approved.
Email Settings: Configure domains and limits for email campaigns.
Email Domains: Add or verify custom domains (e.g., yourcampaign.org) for authorized sending.
Sending Configuration: Enter the From Name recipients will see.
Sending Limits: Define campaign email limits to manage costs and comply with vendor restrictions.
Click Save to apply changes.
Mail, Walk (Canvassing), Social Media, and Phone Banking:
Each sub-tab includes an Outreach Form to collect your committee’s address, payment information, and compliance data. Fill out the form once; the system reuses this information across mail, canvassing, social, and phone campaigns.
Candidate
Use these fields to create a public candidate profile for campaign materials and personalization.
Candidate First Name / Last Name: Enter the candidate’s legal name as it appears on filings.
Candidate Website: Provide the main campaign website URL.
Candidate Policy Website: Include a policy or issues page URL, if available.
Candidate Hashtag: Add a campaign hashtag (e.g., #SmithForCouncil).
Candidate Gender / Ethnicity / Age: Provide demographic details as appropriate. These fields are optional and may support demographic reporting or targeting.
Candidate Incumbent / Party / Familial Status / Immigrant: Complete these only if relevant to your campaign message.
After updating fields, click Save to apply changes.
Consultant
This section stores details for consultants and firms supporting campaigns.
Consultant Name / Contact Name: Enter your firm’s name and primary contact.
Email Address / Phone Number: Provide contact details for client communication.
Business Address: Include your office’s full address.
Areas of Expertise / Experience / Certifications: Describe your specialties, past campaigns, and any relevant certifications.
References: List clients or organizations that can verify your work.
Additional Instructions: Add notes such as preferred hours or communication preferences.
Click Save to commit updates.
Election
Configure election data and review contest details for your campaign.
Election: Select your election date from the dropdown. Contact support if the correct election does not appear.
Custom Voter Turnout Percentage: Enter the turnout rate you expect. The system uses this figure to model voter universes and budgets.
Contest Information: Displays contest data from official sources, including Contest Name, Type, Turnout Percent, and County FIPS Code.
Extra Information Toggle: Enables additional fields such as district names and total registered voters. Use this data to understand your electorate.
System Information: Shows metadata on the last voter file update, demographics update, and contest count refresh. Use this to confirm you have current data.
Saving Changes
After editing any section, click the green Save button at the bottom of the tab to apply your changes. Unsaved edits will be lost when you navigate away from the tab.
